Important notes
• You should aim to travel at roughly the same time of day as your original booking.
• If your journey involves travel across or around London, you must complete the Underground part on the date shown on your ticket. If you travel on a different date, you’ll need to use PAYG or buy a new ticket for the Tube.
• Seat reservations can’t be honoured if you travel on a different day.
• If you want to travel outside these easement dates, the usual Advance ticket rules apply.
If your trip involves other operators (for example, you’re connecting into or out of a CrossCountry service), your ticket should also be accepted on the alternative dates listed above.
If you prefer not to travel at all, you can request a full refund through our online refund portal. No need to wait for strike day.
